Meridian Pathways Tour (Monday, April 28th from 1:30pm to 4:00pm) Please register no later than Monday, April 28th at 10:00am. Transportation is available from the Nampa Civic Center to the Bike Tour if needed. Truck and trailer will leave the Nampa Civic Center no later than 1:30pm and will return to the Nampa Civic Center approximately 5:00pm. Personal bikes are suggested and recommended. If there is a need for additional bikes, there are 4 female bikes and 1 male bikes available for those that request them first. This bicycle tour will begin at the Fivemile Creek Trail hub in Meridian (3430 N Tenmile Road) and continue west along the Fivemile Pathway for 2.5 miles. With approximately 8 contiguous miles running through Meridian, the Fivemile Pathway is one of the City’s greatest assets, offering pedestrians a ‘linear oasis’ along the creek and away from major roadways. On the outward leg, the tour will stop to highlight examples of pathway segments and amenities built in partnership with local agencies and the development community. Discussion will include the City’s ongoing Master Pathway Agreement with Nampa and Meridian Irrigation District, which makes it possible to build pathways within irrigation easements. After turning around at the midpoint, the group will continue back to the trailhead without any formally scheduled stops. Staff will be available during and after the return leg to field questions. It is anticipated that the 5-mile round trip tour will take 1.5 -2 hours. Tour Objectives:
