Recreation Coordinator

Status: Full-Time FLSA: Non-Exempt

This position reports to the Recreation & Community Events Director and performs a variety of tasks associated with providing quality recreation services. You will engage in all phases of Recreation and Community Events Department programs, special events, youth and sports leagues, and other recreational activities. The position requires:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in recreation or a related field; AND
  • Two (2) years of experience in recreation program planning and coordination for a variety of activities; OR
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.  
  • Ability to work nights and weekends;
  • Ability to plan and manage projects;
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Works with youth sports to include soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball and football

Parks Seasonal Worker

Organization: City of McCall, Idaho

Position Title: Parks Seasonal Worker

Wage: Starting wage $16-$18 DOE

The City of McCall is seeking qualified individuals to fill part-time and full-time, Seasonal positions in our Parks Department. Seasonal workers perform unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, inspection, and service work in City parks and public areas, including equipment, machinery, irrigation systems, and structures. Additional duties include soil and plant cultivation, pesticide and fertilization applications and general cleanup duties. 

 Acceptable Experience and TrainingApplicants must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 17 years old, and be able to work weekends and Holidays.

 Special Qualifications: Applicants must have a valid driver’s. A background investigation and a driver’s license verification will be conducted.

Parks Maintenance Tech I
