Why Present at the State Conference?

Becoming a conference speaker is more than sharing information — it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on your profession and community. Presenters gain:

Professional Recognition
Position yourself as a leader and expert in your field. Speaking at a state-level conference enhances your credibility and visibility among peers, decision-makers, and future collaborators.

Networking Opportunities
Engage directly with professionals from across the state. Speaking opens doors to new partnerships, mentorships, and idea-sharing beyond your own agency or region.

Knowledge Exchange
Share your successes, lessons learned, and innovative approaches — and inspire others who face similar challenges. It’s also a chance to learn from feedback and perspectives of others in the field.

Career Growth
Conference presentations strengthen your résumé and demonstrate initiative, leadership, and communication skills — valuable assets for professional advancement.

Contribution to the Profession
Your insights can help elevate standards, spark innovation, and support the growth of parks and recreation across the state.

️Speaker Benefits
Selected speakers receive a conference registration discount, professional recognition in event materials, and the satisfaction of contributing to the collective knowledge of the profession.

Conference dates are April 20-23, 2026
