IRPA is currently calling for speakers and topics for our upcoming 2025 Annual Conference. Next year's show will be held in Nampa, Idaho at the Nampa Civic Center. Conference dates are April 28th - May1st, 2025 If you or anyone you know may be interested in speaking OR have a topic you would love to learn more about, please reach out to IRPA .
Sessions must be 1 hour in length. There is a possibility for Part I and Part II back-to-back sessions, if your topic warrants 2 hours. Please submit proposals by providing a: Cover sheet with your name, contact information (address, phone, email) and who you are representing. Equipment needs and cost (if any) to present at the conference (volunteer presentations welcomed and greatly appreciated) One-page proposal including: · Topic title and categories it would encompass. · Presentation description including three learning objectives (maximum 50 words for the program guide). · Program format: one speaker, panel (number of speakers). If panel, include everyone’s names and biographies. *Selected speakers will receive $50 off their conference registration (max of 2 sessions per speaker). Speakers will be determined and contacted by March 17, 2025. This year's theme is all about "Building Community Connections" |
The Idaho Recreation and Parks association seeks presenters annually to be a part of this magnificent conference. From industry trends and best practices to programing basics and park system recommendations The IRPA annual conference is a great place to share valuable information with colleagues, clients and professionals seeking continuing education credit or information that will guide them in decision making. Presenters are sought from diverse backgrounds, such as private companies that serve the industry through services and products. Directors and managers that share their leadership philosophies on leading community agencies. Programming and support staff that share successful insights on program implementation and evaluation, staff recruitment and development, marketing and more. Park professionals and experts that share ideas and techniques on upkeeping green spaces and facilities in tip- top shape . Consultants and firms that seek opportunities to merge their expertise with agencies to create successful capital improvement projects. Other non-profit or organizations that share impactful partnerships and initiatives that may be of interest to communities throughout the state. If you're looking to make a difference with your experience and knowledge please consider sharing your ideas as a presenter at the 2025 IRPA Annual Conference. |
