This 4-hour jet boat tour takes you to the mouth of the Salmon River, well known as the “River of no return.” The Salmon River joins the Snake River 50 miles upriver from Lewiston, contributing one-third of the Snake River’s flow. This is the longest river that begins and ends within one state at 425 miles long. This tour includes geographic, cultural, and regional historical information and seeing 2,000-year-old petroglyphs. Attendees will be responsible for their transportation to and from Hells Gate State Park Marina, 4832 Hells Gate Rd, Lewiston, ID 83501 (approx. 15 minutes from the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel). The jet boat will leave the dock at 1pm on Monday, April 1st and return at 5pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure time. Suggested items to bring: camera, sunscreen, towel, hat, sunglasses, water shoes.
